This is a collection of photos from the photo albums stored at the Crabin' Cabin in Newport, Oregon. The photos are irreplaceable, so I decided to scan them in as a backup. Click on any photo for a HUGE (1 Meg or larger) extremely high resolution copy.
The first picture is the most famous in our family. This is my grandfather, Ralph Wilson (the 1st), aka "Grandpa", driving his boat. Photographer was Chip (aka Ralph III, his grandson).

A 1975 photo, I think this is Randy and Brian (me). This photo shows a typical big catch of fish (flounder) we used to pull out of the bay in an afternoon of fishing. In the background is Grandpa's 1971 Ford F250 pickup that he eventually gave to me. I drove it from 1983 - 1993.
Another photo from 1975 showing the type of fishing yields we used to get from Newport, Oregon. Now-a-days (2003) the flounder and crab are all gone.
This picture taken around 1974, with Karen on the left, Carolyn Peterson (daughter of Ralph Jr's wife's oldest brother) in red sweatshirt, Bruce in front and Chip on the right.
This photo is from 1973, and I think that's the Walter Wilson clan in complete, so from the left: Greg, Dee Ann, Connie, Bruce Craig, Doug, Walter. They are cracking crabs (extracting the meat).

The modified cabin, this taken around 1983. The dining room addition can be seen just to the right of the garage, poking out towards the driveway.
