2015 Portola Valley House

We moved into our Portola Valley house (rented it) starting on 5/21/2015.  We came from the Pacifica Beach Cottage where we had lived on the beach for 5 years.  Now it is time to try some country living.  :-)

Some history on our house from a neighbor (Michelle): This house was built by Wally and his wife Lee Davis along with what was then a Mother-in Law cottage to the southwest of your pool. Their first house in the neighborhood was actually the one on your right looking out from the front door of this property, which they also built. Wally had a small engineering firm in Palo Alto. The Davis' eventually built yet a third home on Corte Madera Road - where their daughter and her family now live. The houses across the street on the left were all built at the same time and the one on the corner (Canyon/Cresent) was once an actual logging cabin (or so we believed as children) and was converted to a full house by the Bells who still reside there.  To my count 7 families have lived in your house (including a family that rented for the summer a couple of years) since it was built - you are the lucky 7 folks!

The view of the living room facing more to the right (towards the front of of the house).  The blue pen is for Chou Chou, who has a back strain and not allowed to run around or hop on furniture.  We have one pen in each room so he can always be with us, but is prevented from hopping up and down off furniture which we NORMALLY allow but right now his back needs to heal.
