Virginia Wilson 80th Birthday(3/29/2014)
|
Some pictures from Virginia Wilson's 80th birthday gathering (technically her birthday is 3/21/1934 but we gathered on 3/29/2014). Katherine and I flew up to Corvallis, Oregon for an overnight trip. Below is a portrait of everybody that came. Sitting down is Howard Wilson and Virginia Wilson, then standing from left to right: Nathanael Hoffmann, Mark Hoffmann, Cheryl Hoffmann, Katie Hoffmann, Katherine Chung, Brian Wilson, Ari Echt-Wilson, Randy Wilson, Ramey Echt.
Now back to pictures in time order of our trip, here is Katherine getting ready at 5am in California before our plane flight. Katherine has very long (beautiful) hair, which takes a lot of work to maintain.
Katherine and I like to play a game with TSA security where she opts out of the full body scanner machines and I film the resulting invasive pat-down. Below they keep Katherine waiting as a punishment for not wanting to be scanned.
THIS VIDEO IS NOT EDITED -> and probably won't play on a PC, I'll come back later and edit it a little.

Flying home on terrible airlines. There was a screwup at the gate, they let us out before the crew had switched, which led to panic and general confusion and frustration.
And safe back at home in Pacifica where we started.
That's it!
