Education is Blooming

May brings Pilates Day on the 2nd—a practical marker for how continuing education shapes both instructor skill and client outcomes. At Core Conditioning, education is blooming across every level of our practice this month. Our staff includes eight Balanced Body Educators, and instructor training continues through spring and into summer.

That educational depth extends beyond workshops. In this month's Move of the Month, owners Gabrielle Shrier and Allyson Cabot demonstrate upright posture and pelvic stability strategies for prenatal and postpartum clients—covering pelvic stacking, scapular setting, and banded hip abduction and adduction work to support the SI joint and pelvic floor. The sequence applies directly to real-world demands like caring for a child.

Mother's Day on May 10 carries added meaning at Core Conditioning this year. Two members of our team—Jennica Sancianco and Maran McLeod—recently welcomed new additions to their families. We're celebrating both in a dedicated feature below.

Our Recipe of the Month features vegetarian stuffed poblanos—a plant-based, fiber-rich option built around anti-inflammatory nutrition principles and practical for weekday meal prep. A cleaner alternative for clients reducing red meat intake or managing inflammation.

Whether you're pursuing instructor certification, learning new movement strategies, or refining your nutrition, the principle holds: informed practice produces lasting results. Register for a workshop or schedule a session. Education supports function at every level.

Celebrating Mother's Day at Core Conditioning

This Mother's Day, we're honored to celebrate two members of our team who have recently welcomed new additions to their families. Jennica Sancianco welcomed her daughter, Jasmine, on April 1, 2026. True to her mother's profession, Jasmine already loves to stretch—a small but fitting reminder that movement awareness can begin remarkably early.

Maran and Stephen DiGiusto welcomed an adorable red-haired baby boy at the end of March. His big sister, Evangeline, loves making him smile and bringing mommy diapers and wipes to help take care of him—and his dad can't wait to watch baseball with his future Red Sox fan.
