It is recommended to adapt the curriculum based on some ideas like: considering student´s individual learning needs and abilities, student´s learning preferences, differentiated instruction strategies, improving physical assistance and even peer support.

Learning objective:

To recognize the adaptation of the curriculum to different educational context through the creation of a podcast with the idea of highlighting curricular educational context.

Instructions:

1. Read and take notes from the following article:

School Context, Student Attitudes and Behavior, and Academic Achievement: An Exploratory Analysis.

2. Research additional information from reliable sources to strengthen your understanding from the topic.

3. Based on the collected information, record an audio (between 1 and 3 minutes long). Your podcast must focus on the adaptation of curriculum according to various school contexts, highlighting how student attitudes and behavior can influence academic success.

4. Include a final conclusion at the end of your podcast. This should reflect your personal opinion on the topic, based on the reading and your research. Make sure to present a thoughtful and critical perspective.

5. As a recommendation, before starting the recording, you can prepare various support materials to help you express your ideas more clearly—such as summary cards, notes, a whiteboard, or a structured script.

6. Once your script is ready, you can begin recording your podcast using the recommended tool below, or by visiting Anchor, a free platform for creating and sharing podcasts. Simply access the site, select the “Record” button, and follow the steps to complete your recording.

7. After the recording is complete, download the audio file, name it appropriately, and upload it to the assigned space for review and feedback.
