It is necessary to foster a culture of continuous improvement of the curriculum so teachers should define their goals, choose methods and tools, implement and monitor changes but most of all celebrate and reward achievements.

Learning objective:

To classify the techniques for the review and continuous improvement of the curriculum based on learning outcomes by doing a mandala diagram to clarify ideas and highlight relevant words.

Instructions:

1. Read and take notes from the following article:

    Methods for continuous improvement.

2. Then, search for additional information from reliable academic sources (websites, articles, or journals) to further support and enrich your understanding of the methods used for the continuous review and improvement of the curriculum based on student learning outcomes.

3. Once you’ve gathered enough information, identify and classify the techniques suggested in the article. Group them into categories or themes that reflect different approaches to curriculum improvement (e.g., feedback loops, assessment analysis, stakeholder input, etc.).

4. Now, go to the website Miro and log in or create a free account.

5. Look for a mandala diagram template. Once you open it, follow these steps to complete your organizer:

Write the main topic, such as “Methods for Continuous Curriculum Improvement,” at the center of the mandala.
Around the central circle, you will see eight post-it sections. Fill each of them with a key concept, technique, or method related to the main topic.
Then, develop each main idea by adding smaller notes, subpoints, or examples that explain or expand on the concept. These details should come from your reading and your additional research.
Use keywords, phrases, or short sentences to keep your organizer clear and visually informative.
You may customize your mandala by adding icons, colors, or illustrations that enhance understanding.

6. Once your mandala organizer is complete, you can generate a link to share it or export it as a file.

7. Deliver your activity using the task mailbox. You can upload the file directly or paste the shared link to your Miro board.
