Innovation in education means embracing new tools and thinking creatively. This activity invites you to examine didactic strategies such as gamification and multimedia, and reflect on their potential to make your teaching more dynamic and effective.

Learning objective: 

To explore innovative didactic strategies, such as gamification and multimedia resources, through investigation, in order to apply them in English language teaching.

Instructions: 

    Read and take notes from the following articles: 
        In Techniques & Principles in Language teaching. From page 229 to 271.
        Innovative strategies for teaching English language learners.
        Innovative Teaching Methods in English Language Programs.
    Look for trustworthy sources to gather additional information.
    Identify the key concepts about didactic strategies, such as the use of multimedia resources and collaborative activities.
    Organize the information from the articles and your research into a visual mind map including:
        Gamification
        Multimedia tools
        Collaborative learning strategies
    Write a reflection on their advantages and disadvantages of these strategies. 
    Include your references according to APA format. 
    Deliver your work on time in the corresponding space. 

Suggestions: 

    Use Canva, Genially, Miro, Lucidchart, or any other online page to create your mind map.
