Rooted in behaviorist theory, the Audio-Lingual Method emphasizes repetition and drilling. In this activity, you will analyze its structure and create a sample application, reflecting on its strengths and limitations for modern learners.

Learning objective: 

To explore the principles and techniques of the Audio-Lingual Method, through its study,  to evaluate its relevance in modern language teaching.

Instructions: 

    Read and analyze the following articles: 
        Approaches and methods in language teaching.
        The Audio-Lingual Method.
        The History of the Method: The Audio-Lingual Method.
        The audiolingual method.
    Research in any trustable source for more information. 
    Write a script (350–500 words) explaining the method, with examples of drills and its advantages and disadvantages.
    Record an audio using the platform tool or any other app you prefer. 
    Your audio should be no longer than 5 minutes. 
    In a Word document share your audio link and the script from it. Then, send your work in a PDF file format. 
    Deliver your work on time in the corresponding space.
